Study in Saanich welcomed 66 new international students from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Slovakia, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States this week. The new cohort of international students are attending Claremont, Parkland and Stelly's Secondary School's for semester 2 of the 2024-2025 school year. 

After a one day orientation on January 31, it was full on schooling all week for the new arrivals. In addition to the full semester study group, a group of 8 students from Turkey have joined Saanich. Many will return to Saanich to complete graduation starting in September 2025.
