Ernestine Fagel

Ernestine is responsible for the direction of the Homestay Program. She oversees recruitment and retention of host families, develops homestay policies and guidelines, and supervises and supports the program's three Homestay Coordinators. Ernestine is from the Netherlands, is fluent in Dutch and English and has a teaching background in international education. She loves the diversity of the role of Homestay Manager, and thoroughly enjoys connecting with students, host families, school staff and educational partners. She has been with the Saanich International Student Program since the summer of 2019.
